Thai Music Acts Promoted in Global Stage

The Creative Economy Agency (CEA) has selected 33 Thai artists to participate in 34 international music festivals under its Music Exchange 2026 program, supporting a total of 41 performances across Asia, Europe, North America, and other regions between January 1 and August 16.

Thai artists supported by the program have already appeared at major overseas events during the first half of the year. Performers included MILLI at HITC Japan and Mexico's Feria de San Marcos, BUS because of you i shine at the D.U.N.K. Showcase in Japan, Tilly Birds at the Round Festival in the Philippines, and ANNALYNN at Shockwave Tour Fest in China.

More performances are scheduled through August, with PiXXiE set to appear at Summer Sonic in Japan, KIKI at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, STEREOLETO in Russia, Khana Bierbood at Roskilde Festival in Denmark, and The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band at Down The Rabbit Hole in the Netherlands.
According to CEA Director Dr. Chakrit Pichyangkoon, participation in international festivals gives Thai artists opportunities to gain insights into audience preferences in different markets, establish business connections with promoters and record labels, and improve touring operations and backstage management to meet international standards.

The CEA director said the program expands the global reach of Thai music and increases the economic value of the country's music industry. He encouraged the public and fans to follow the activities of Thai artists performing at festivals around the world through the CEA's website and social media platforms.
