The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with seven key agencies to promote Thailand’s traditional arts and culture on the global stage. This collaboration is part of a strategic plan to highlight the nation’s cultural identity through tourism and sports activities, aiming to boost economic value and enhance the country’s international image.
The initiative includes promoting Thai cultural performances worldwide, organizing festivals and cultural events to attract tourists, and enhancing the capabilities of cultural professionals to preserve and present Thai heritage effectively. The partnership is fully supported by organizations specializing in arts, education, and tourism.
This MOU marks a significant step toward leveraging Thailand’s cultural heritage as a tool for tourism and foreign investment. Interested investors are invited to participate in the development of Thailand’s cultural sector through projects and activities backed by both the public and private sectors. This effort will help preserve Thai arts while creating global business opportunities.
