High Tide Warning: 29 Sept–4 Oct

The Thai Meteorological Department has warned of strong southwest monsoon winds over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand, combined with runoff from upstream areas. This is expected to raise water levels in several major rivers between 29 September and  4 October.

● Rivers to watch:

   ◇ Bang Pakong River

  ◇ Chao Phraya River

  ◇ Tha Chin River

  ◇ Mae Klong River

● Areas at risk of flooding:

Communities outside flood barriers, areas without permanent flood protection, and parts of Sukhumvit Road, Suksawat Road, and Rama II Road.

● Provinces urged to monitor the situation:

Chachoengsao, Samut Prakan, Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, and Samut Songkhram
