Recently, border trade has improved, with the trade value increasing by 3.6% in the first six months of this year, reflecting the success of the government's policies in driving sustainable economic growth.
In addition to the increase in border trade figures, the 2024 Border Trade Fair will be held from August 15-18 in Songkhla Province. This event is organized in collaboration with various agencies, such as the Department of Internal Trade, EXIM Bank, and SME Bank. The fair will feature product displays, business matching sessions, and seminars to educate entrepreneurs. It aims to promote border trade and further stimulate economic growth.
With the right policies and strong friendships with neighboring countries, Thailand will be able to distribute income and strengthen the economy in border areas. It is certain that 2024 will be another year in which Thailand's border trade adds significant value to the Thai economy!
