How to Request a Copy of a Certificate, Goods Declaration, Account, or Customs-Related Document.

Documents related to the import and export of goods from abroad are very important. If a business needs to request copies of important documents from the Customs Department, proper preparations is necessary. This includes preparing oneself, gathering documents, and understanding the associated costs. We have compiled essential information for you.

Important Conditions to Know:

The requester must have the right to access that information. The requested documents must not be classified as confidential. The application must be submitted to the responsible Customs office or checkpoint, clearly specifying the details of the requested information according to the specified format/attached format in the announcement.

Required Supporting Documents:

  • Thai national ID card or government-issued identification document.
  • In the case of a legal entity representative, provide:
    • Certificate of incorporation and power of attorney from the authorized signatory of the legal entity.
    • Thai national ID card or government-issued identification document, or a copy of such document signed by the authorized signatory, one set.

Costs:

  • Reports of various kinds, per set: 200 Baht
  • Certificates, per sheet: 40 Baht
  • Customs clearance documents, accounts, or any non-confidential customs-related documents, per sheet: 40 Baht
  • Substitute license for establishing a bonded warehouse or secure goods storage facility at a port, per copy: 200 Baht
  • Substitute license for establishing a duty-free zone, per copy: 200 Baht
  • Substitute license for operating within a duty-free zone, per copy: 100 Baht
