Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, is scheduled to visit Cannes, France, to participate in MIPIM – The Global Urban Festival (MIPIM 2024) (le marché international des professionnels de l'immobilier), held between 12 and 15 March 2024. He will be joined by working groups from many sectors, such as the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, or TCEB, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Public Relations Department, which participated in organizing an exhibition under the concept "THAILAND UNVEILED: Harmonizing Livability for Life - Why Thailand." The exhibition communicates Thailand's good reputation for being a livable country that is worth investing in, as part of the project to promote Thailand's image and publicize it in the international arena.
This is the first time that PRD's exhibition has been held in a world-class event such as the MIPIM Festival, which is a stage that opens up foreign perspectives to see the potentials of Thailand. The Public Relations Department will present important strategic points, such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Chonburi, and Rayong, to attract investors from around the world through multimedia exhibitions combining the uniqueness and elegance of Thailand. This will lead to confidence among the government officials and executives from companies in such countries as the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and more, who would potentially be interested in visiting and investing in Thailand even more.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the event on 12 March and will deliver a speech on the topic "Better infrastructure in an age of risk, scarcity, and emergency." The Prime Minister is also scheduled to pay a courtesy visit and speak with H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, as well as having bilateral talks with business leaders and executives of world-class companies.
