The Cosplay Art Festival 2023, or CAF 2023, was the grandest cosplay event of the year. Organized by Thailand Game Show, the event encapsulated all activities that cosplay enthusiasts could have desired and took place from June 30th to July 2nd, 2023, at the Thailand Cultural Centre.
The festival was an unmissable event for cosplay enthusiasts as it gathered renowned cosplayers from both Thailand and abroad. Among the participants, 17-year-old Thai cosplayer Thames Malerose and "Ely," a beautiful guest cosplayer straight from Taiwan who showcased her Loveless manga costume, were two of the highlights.
The event, which took place a month ago, not only featured a costume showcase but also included stalls selling various cosplay merchandise and apparel. The attendees could participate in activities that promoted the exchange of cosplay experiences and even had the opportunity to compete in a cosplay contest in both solo and team categories.
The Cosplay Contest 2023 theme was Freestyle, encompassing a wide array of categories such as games, anime, movies, and Tokusatsu, as long as the costumes adhered to their original designs. This competition aimed to inspire creativity and the courage to perform, with over 22 prizes totaling 100,000 baht in value.
