February travel events calendar: Amazing Muay Thai Festival

The AMAZING MUAY THAI FESTIVAL will be held between 2-6 February 2023 at Rajabhakti Park and Hua Hin Marine Recreation Center, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The government has designated 6 February of every year as Muay Thai Day to commemorate the benevolence of King Sanphet VIII, or Phra Chao Sua, who ascended the throne on this day due to his proficiency in Muay Thai. He has devised Muay Thai master moves and passed on to the next generation. Nowadays, Muay Thai is a national identity as well as a cultural heritage of Thailand

The Royal Thai Army has a policy to promote Muay Thai as a national sport and heritage of Thailand to attract both Thai and foreign tourists to attend the event. Therefore the largest Wai Khru event at the multi-purpose court, Rajabhakti Park, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province to preserve this national, valuable cultural heritage. In addition, there are many activities within the event such as the world’s largest Wai Kru Muay Thai festival or Guinness World Records, the WBC Muay Thai World Championships, beach workouts with MUAY THAI STARS, and international Muay Thai competitions.
