Amendment - Right of access to the system and termination of username and password, registration of legal entities online (e-Registration)

     Business operations may be changed as part of the competent authority or as an authorized representative. Therefore, when a partnership or a company the apply for establishment through the electronic juristic person registration system (e-Registration) and want to edit the information or the right to access the system must be carried out as follows:

     Once you have activated a user in the electronic juristic person registration system (e-Registration) and want to edit the information registered by getting the username and password request, you should proceed through the e-Registration process immediately.

Those who already have a username and password and are qualified as a representative, and wish to act as a representative, must comply with the following criteria: 

1. A representative as a bookkeeper or the head of the quality accounting office, or a certified signatory, a public limited company, or a collateral officer or an authorized auditor;

1.1 Username & Password being verified identity by presenting yourself in person or via electronic system (Electronic Know Your Customer: e-KYC) or by using the electronic certificate received from the Certification Authority (CA). When selecting a representative type, the system will verify the information before adding the rights as a representative without verifying the new identity.     

1.2 Username & Password being verified by authorizing others to act on their behalf. For example, when selecting a representative type in the system, a new identity must be verified according to the rules.

2. Representatives of ordinary members and extraordinary members of the Bar Association must attach a file of evidence of membership and confirm their identity according to the new criteria.

     Representatives with username and password want to change the delegate type in the system immediately without having to verify the new identity excepting the case of changing to ordinary delegates, and extraordinary members of the Bar Association have to attach a file of evidence of membership and confirm the new identity according to the rules.

     Users with username and password as representatives of the General Membership and Extraordinary Members of the Council must comply with the rules prescribed every three years from the date of activation (Activate User).

In the case that the operator or representative wants to cancel a username and password used for accessing the electronic legal entity registration system, the following actions must be taken:

  1. Create a username and password verification request for the use of electronic legal entity registration services (e-Registration), which can be downloaded from the Department of Business Development website (www.dbd.go.th).
  2. Apply in person at the e-Business Registration Section, Department of Business Development, Business Development Office for all districts in Bangkok, or any provincial office of commerce, or any other place as specified by the Department of Business Development, and present a valid identification card. For foreigners, present a passport or identification card issued by a Thai government agency that has not expired.

     Once the officer has verified, sign and save the email address specified by the operator or representative in the request. The system will notify the user’s name and password via email to the operator or representative.


In the case that the operator or representative wants to cancel the username and password in accessing the electronic legal entity registration system (e-Registration), the following actions shall be taken:

  1. Prepare a request form for canceling the username and password used for the e-Registration service for registering juristic persons electronically, which can be downloaded from the website of the Department of Business Development (www.dbd.go.th).
  2. Submit the request to the officer in person at the electronic business registration section, the Department of Business Development, the Department of Trade Development, or every commercial business development office in Bangkok or every provincial commercial office, or any other place as prescribed by the Department of Business Development, with a valid identification card. For foreigners, present a passport or identification card issued by the Thai government agency that has not expired. Once the officer has verified it, sign it before recording the cancellation information in the system.
