Consider 13 travel lifestyles

      The results of a consumer survey related to tourism were recently made public by the Economic Intelligence Center (EIC) for Economic and Business Research at Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited. It came up with 13 “lines” of attractive travel opportunities based on the types of activities that would appeal to tourists. From the following list, it is obvious that vacation styles vary widely:

1. Mutelu Type;

2. Café Type;

3. Cultural Tourism Type;

4. Adventure Type;

5. Workation Type;

6. Festival, Concerts, Marathon Runs Type;

7. Nature Lovers Type;

8. Health and Wellness Type;

9. Freelance Type;

10. Single Type;

11. One-day Travel Type;

12. Short Trip Type;

13. Long Travel Type.

      Gen Z travelers are often categorized as a subset of the more general “Adventure,” “Festival,” “Concert,” and “Environmental” traveler types. The vast majority of adventure tourists either travel solo or in pairs. Relaxation, coffee shops, massage parlors, spas, the workation type, and the health and wellness line are all big with the millennial generation. In order to unwind completely, most of them plan to be gone for an extended period of time. The Baby Boomer generation is a group of travelers with relatively high concerns about safety and hygiene who are more interested in doing things like making merit, paying homage to monks, and experiencing local ways of life through cultural tourism.

      It is anticipated that tourists with high purchasing power, who travel for extended periods of time, and who are affected by low inflation tend to spend quite a bit of money on tourism in Thailand, including café tourists, health and wellness tourists, and adventure tourists. It is anticipated that a sizable number of these visitors will be drawn in by various forms of promotional marketing, premium services, and distinctive contemporary decor.
