Eleven Collaborative Network Centers: Key Mechanisms for Developing Workforce Capabilities Based on the EEC Model
One of the key mechanisms for developing workforce capabilities in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) is having collaborative network centers to develop workforce capabilities to meet target industry demand and respond to supporting projects in various dimensions.
There are 11 collaborative network centers – or EEC Net – for EEC Model workforce capability development, as follows:
- EEC Automation Park is Burapha University and Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO) KMUTT; EEC Mechatronic Center is Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok;
- Merchant Marine Industry Center is Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus;
- Logistics Center is Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok;
- Rail Transit System Center is Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Chonburi Technical College, and Burapha University;
- High-Value Tourism Center is Burapha University;
- Medical and Comprehensive Health Care Center and EEC Genomic Center are Thammasat University Pattaya Campus and Burapha University;
- Digital Industry Center is the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) and Sripatum University;
- Next-Generation Automotive Center is Burapha University and Thammasat University Pattaya Campus;
- Food, Agriculture, and Biotechnology Industry Center is Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus;
- Aviation Industry Center is Sattahip Technical College and Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus;
- Intelligent Electronics Industry Center is King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok Rayong Campus and Burapha University;
