T-VER Registration Process

The process for considering the registration of a voluntary greenhouse gas reduction project according to Thailand’s standards (T-VER) is as follows:

1. Submit an application for project registration T-VER (project developer).

2. Receive requests to verify the completeness and accuracy of requests, documents, and evidence (TGO Staff).

3. Consider screening and reviewing the correctness of projects and activities from the Subcommittee on Greenhouse Gas Reduction Projects and Activities within 30 working days of TGO receiving the application and complete and correct documents.

4. Consider the registration of the T-VER project by the Committee of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization within 60 working days.

5. Notify the consideration result.

6. Issue a certificate of project registration T-VER.

To be considered for registration as a T-VER project, a project must operate in accordance with the law, follow the T-VER project development guidelines, operate within the scope of a greenhouse gas reduction project that does not require additional proof, and assess the project’s potential for reducing or storing greenhouse gases using the voluntary greenhouse gas reduction methodology. Validation by an external assessor is required for board-registered voluntary projects.
