T-VER project registration and carbon credit certification fees

1. Fee for T-VER project registration and GHG certification (carbon credit)

       Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO, will consider collecting fees for TGO services beginning 10 January 2023, in accordance with the operating principles of a non-profit public organization.

       The fee rate for applying for T-VER project registration and requesting certification of the amount of greenhouse gas that can be reduced or stored from the T-VER project at a flat rate, by charging the same fee for all projects in a single rate, is as follows:

- The application fee for registering a T-VER project is 5,000 baht per request;

- The service fee for requesting certification of greenhouse gas emissions (carbon credit) is 5,000 baht or 3,000 baht per request, with a carbon credit of 10 tCO2eq deducted per request.

Note: The fee rate in the table does not include value added tax (VAT) at the rate of 7%.

2. Fee Payment Procedure

       The applicant for project registration/ carbon credit certification must pay the service fee together with the application for project registration T-VER or request for carbon credit certification.

       Procedures for submitting the fee payment for T-VER project registration and carbon credit certification are as follows:

1) Project Developer Application Framework for T-VER Project Registration/ Credit Certification;

2) The TGO reviews registration application documents, taking 1-2 business days;

3) Prepare a registration fee expense sheet of 3,000 baht per request, taking 1-2 business days;

4) The TGO sends the cost notification to the project developer via email, taking 7-15 working days;

5) The project developer sends proof of payment to the TGO;

6) The TGO prepares the receipt for the project developer, taking 3-5 working days;

7) Projects that have already paid the registration fee are awaiting the next round of consideration.
