Issuing New Bonds in Replacement of Damaged Ones/Segregating Bonds/Consolidating Same Series Bonds into a Single Issue for a Legal Entity

For bondholders with securitized rights in the form of legal entities wishing to request the issuance of new bonds in replacement of damaged ones, segregating bonds, or consolidating same series bonds into a single issue, they should submit a request in the format specified by the Bank of Thailand. The signatures must match the specimen signatures provided to the Bank of Thailand. They should prepare the following supporting documents for consideration:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Ministry of Commerce, not exceeding 1 month old, or a certificate indicating legal entity status issued by a government agency.
  2. National Identification Card.
  3. Government or state organization employee card (issued by the respective agency).
  4. Passport or Alien Registration Certificate (only for foreigners).
  5. Request to issue new bonds in replacement of the old ones.
  6. The bond itself.

In requesting the issuance of new bonds to replace damaged ones, segregating bonds, or consolidating the same series bonds into a single issue, the entire process will take approximately 50 minutes. This is dependent on several factors, such as the completeness and correctness of documents, the auditor's consideration, and the time it takes to correct the request. Once the entire process is complete, the applicant will be notified of the results within 7 days from the completion of consideration. There will be a fee of 100 baht per bond.
