Required Documents for Obtaining a Work Permit for Foreigners Under the ASEAN Free Skilled Labor Mobility, According to the MRAs Agreement

 To apply for a work permit for foreigners under the ASEAN Free Skilled Labor Mobility according to the MRAs agreement, the following documents are required:

  1. An application for work permit and renewal of a foreigner's work permit under Article 59 (Form Bor Tor 25) (Original 1 copy)
  2. Passport or equivalent document, or Alien Identification and Domicile Certificate (Original 1 copy) (Copy 1 copy)
  3. Evidence of permission to enter and stay in the kingdom (VISA) (Copy 1 copy)
  4. Evidence of education or a certificate of work experience from the previous employer or a certificate of work experience from the new employer (Copy 1 set)
  5. Professional license or certification to practice (Copy 1 copy)
  6. Employment certification (Form Bor Tor 46) (Original 1 copy)
  7. Medical certificate, certifying that the foreigner does not have any prohibited characteristics according to the 2020 Ministerial Regulation defining qualifications and prohibited characteristics of foreigners applying for work permits (Validity of the medical certificate as specified by the doctor) (Original 1 copy)
  8. Half-body photograph of the foreigner, facing forward, no hat, no glasses, size 3 x 4 cm, not more than 6 months old, 2 pictures
  9. Identification card or copy of other government-issued documents to verify the employer's identity (Copy 1 copy)
  10. Passport or copy of the employer's domicile certificate and copy of the employer's work permit (Copy 1 set)
  11. Certificate of company registration along with the purpose, not more than 6 months old (Copy 1 set)
  12. Shareholder list (Bor Oor Jor 5), not more than 6 months old (Copy 1 set)
  13. Value-added tax registration, Por Por 01 or Por Por 09 (Copy 1 set)
  14. Financial statements (Copy 1 set)
  15. Documents showing the corporate income tax report (Copy 1 set)
  16. Power of Attorney letter to be signed on behalf of someone, must be notarized by a Notary Public and certified by the Thai Embassy (Original 1 set)
  17. License or certificate of conducting business of the foreigner (Copy 1 copy)
  18. Certification of the content that the registrar keeps according to the 1999 Foreign Business Act.
  19. Evidence of bringing money from abroad to invest in Thailand (Copy 1 set)
  20. Documents according to the Employment Department's 2009 regulation on criteria for considering work permits for foreigners (Copy 1 set)
  21. Government official ID card (Copy 1 copy)
  22. Certification from a government department/state enterprise/state school specifying the name of the foreigner, position, and duration of employment (Original 1 copy)
  23. Contract of employment or sales contract (Copy 1 set)
  24. Documents showing that the applicant has the knowledge and experience suitable for the job for which the permit is requested (Copy 1 set)
  25. Power of Attorney letter from the foreigner with a stamp duty attached (in case the foreigner does not apply in person and/or in the case where the employer delegates another person to sign on their behalf (Original 1 set). The delegate must show the original identification card or other government-issued documents for identity verification.
