Request for Relocation of Overseas Employment Agency - Case of Relocation Outside of the Province Stated in the License

     In case an overseas employment agency license holder wishes to relocate their office outside the province specified in the license, they must submit a request as per form Jor Ngor 13 to the local employment registrar where their licensed office is located for permission to relocate, before making any changes with the Ministry of Commerce.

     The procedure according to the citizen service manual starts once the officers have verified that all the required documents listed in the manual are complete. If the request or evidence is incomplete or deficient, making it impossible to consider, the officer will compile a record of the document or evidence deficiencies that need to be supplemented. The applicant must correct and/or submit additional documents within the period specified in the record. If they fail to do so, it will be considered that the applicant has abandoned the request by the officer and the applicant or authorized signatory will sign the record, of which a copy will be given to the applicant or the authorized signatory as evidence. The result of the consideration will be notified to the applicant within 7 days after the completion of the consideration.

The documents to be attached with the petition for requesting relocation of the overseas employment agency, in case of relocation outside the province stated in the license, are as follows:

  1. Original Request for Relocation of Employment Agency (Form Jor Ngor 13)
  2. Copy of the proof of ownership or occupancy rights for the new office location, 1 set
  3. Original map showing the new office location, briefly
  4. Original photos of the new office building, both interior and exterior
  5. Original Employment Agency License (Form Jor Ngor 3)
  6. Original ID card of the manager, licensee, employee, representative given by the employment registrar
  7. In case of delegation of authority, use an original power of attorney attached with a 10 Baht stamp, along with a copy of the authorizer's ID card and the original ID card of the authorized.

The steps to apply for the permit are as follows:

  1. Document Verification: The applicant submits the application along with the documents, and the officer verifies the completeness and correctness of these documents.
  2. Document Review: The officer reviews the details of the documents and issues a letter to the Job Registrar of the locality where the new office will be established.
  3. Site Verification: The relevant documents are sent by post for verification of the new location.
  4. Site Inspection: The Job Agency of the locality where the new office will be established inspects the new office location.
  5. Document Review: Compilation of evidentiary documents / records of permit changes, manager, employee, and recruitment agent cards / opinion submitted to the Job Registrar of the locality where the new office will be established.
  6. Signing / Committee Resolution: The Job Registrar of the locality where the new office will be established reviews and signs the permit, manager, employee, and recruitment agent cards.
  7. Service Recipient pays the fee / Receives the permit and relevant documents.

Fee:

  1. Application fee: 10.00 baht
  2. Fee for requesting office relocation: 400.00 baht per time.
