Special Agreement Based Plant Pest Control for Exporting Fruits and Vegetables

     The Department of Agriculture requires the following documents for the process of controlling plant pests for exporting fruits and vegetables: 

  1. Registration certificate as a fruit and vegetable exporter (required only for the first export)
  2. Pest eradication notice (Details such as species, weight, country are required)

Here's the procedure, which takes 2 working days:

Document Inspection (30 minutes)
     1) The exporter or representative informs the officer to conduct pest eradication in the fruits.
     2) The officer verifies that the supporting documents are correct and complete.

Consideration (1 working day)
     1)The officer travels to eradicate the pests according to the conditions specified for export crops.
     2) The officer performs pest eradication.
Note: In case of using cold treatment, the time is counted until the sealing of the transport container.

Signature/Committee Resolution (30 minutes)
     The officer who performs the pest eradication approves the export of the fruit after the pest eradication. The operating procedure timeline starts when the officer verifies that the documents are correct and complete, as specified in the public manual.

The fee details are as follows:

  1. Plant health certificate fee: 100 Baht
  2. Plant health certification service fee (as per the Ministry's 2010 rule on fees and service charges)
  3. Vehicle travel costs (actual cost)
