The issuance of a certificate to export mollusks and mollusk shells out of the Kingdom must follow the specified criteria, procedures, and conditions:
- A person who wishes to apply for a certificate for exporting mollusks and mollusk shells out of the Kingdom must comply with the Regulations of the Department of Fisheries on the application and issuance of a certificate of type and mollusk shell of finished shell products exported out of the Kingdom, B.E. 2547 (2004);
- The applicant must submit the application for a certificate with the specified supporting documents;
- The applicant must complete the application and details correctly.
Conditions for issuing the certificate to export mollusks and mollusk shells out of the Kingdom
- In case of doubts about the evidence submitted, the officer must inform the applicant to request further clarification;
- The applicant must have the authority to sign an acknowledgment of the amendment in the application;
- In case the details in the application and certificate are incorrect or incomplete, or not all the supporting documents are attached, the officer will not accept the application until the applicant has completed the correction;
- If the application and documents are incomplete and incorrect and cannot be amended at that time, the officer receiving the application and the applicant must sign the memo about the document error, together with the deadline for the applicant to take corrective action. If the applicant fails to take further corrective action within the prescribed period, it will be assumed that the applicant no longer wishes to submit the application;
- The implementation procedure, in line with the Public Handbook, starts when the officer finishes reviewing the completeness and correctness of documents.
The process of issuing the certificate to export mollusks and mollusk shells out of the Kingdom
- The applicant must submit the application for the certificate to export mollusk and mollusk shells out of the Kingdom. The officer inspects the completeness of documents and registers the application;
- The officer considers supporting documents and issues an appointment to obtain the certificate. In the case of non-approval, the matter shall return to the applicant for correction. The officer prepares the memo to the Inland Fisheries Research and Development Division or the Marine Fisheries Research and Development Division for checking the list of species;
- The officer prepares the certificate to export mollusks and mollusk shells out of the Kingdom and proposes it to the authorized person for signing;
- The authorized person signs the certificate.
