Re-import under A.T.A. Carnet
The procedures are as follows:

1.Importers submit yellow certificate sets (re-importation counterfoil and re-importation voucher), together with related documents to the Customs Station where goods were imported;

2. The Customs officer will verify all documents. If no discrepancies are found, tax exemption will be applied.  Importers can contact the officer to receive goods.

Re-export under A.T.A. Carnet
The procedures are as follows:  

1. Exporters submit complete white certificate sets (re-exportation counterfoil and re-exportation voucher), together with related documents to the Customs Station.

2. The Customs officer will verify all documents and issue a tax exemption number or tax payment number (as applicable). Then the exporters take the documents to pay tax (if applicable) or receive goods.
