Building human capacity is an essential factor when it comes to developing the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry under the BCG concept. There are three major goals:
1. To build personnel in drug research and development and the production of vaccines, drugs and biological substances, creating cooperation with the private sector and international drug research and development agencies, such as creating personnel specializing in active ingredient extraction, pharmaceutical production processes, biological objects, and vaccines to support development throughout the value chain, including experts for certification of production standards for registration;
2. To develop biopharma engineering curriculum;
3. To develop hands-on training courses both upstream and downstream to develop personnel that are connected to the research section of the manufacturing industry and marketing of the pharmaceutical industry.
