Do you dare to take in the view from Thailand’s seven high-rise skywalks?

       Everyone who has even a passing interest in heights, challenges, or adventure should make the trek across a skywalk in the clouds at least once in their lives.

       Around the world, cities and provinces have designated their local skywalk as a must-see destination for tourists and a new iconic landmark.

       Each skywalk that we are going to introduce you to is made of clear glass (tempered and laminated, no problem!) through which you can clearly see everything below your feet. If you want to conquer your fears and put courage into your heart, you have to try at least one of the seven incredible skywalks in Thailand.

       1. Mahanakhon Skywalk: Specifically, the King Power Mahanakhon Building, Floor 78, in the heart of Bangkok, near Chong Nonsi BTS Station. It’s situated on a roof that claims to be the highest in Thailand. If you’re not sure you want the full experience, there’s a 360-degree indoor Observatory just below, on the 74th floor. Through the glass elevator, on the ride up, Bangkok can be viewed in its entirety in less than a minute and a half.

       2. Skywalk Chiangkhan, or Skywalk Phu Khok Ngiw, Loei Province: Ban Tha Di Mi, Chiang Khan District, Loei Province, appears like a glass boardwalk alongside the Mekong River and is located in the Huang River Delta in Laos, where the Huang River flows into the Mekong. There are three vantage spots from which you can stroll and take in the sights of the misty sea and the contrasting rivers on either side of the Mekong.

       3. Wat Pha Tak Suea Skywalk, Nong Khai Province: The first Thai skywalk was built in Pha Tang Subdistrict, Sangkhom District, Nong Khai Province, near the temple of Temple Pha Tak Suea. From the precipice, a U-shaped passageway can be seen. The scenic Mekong River and Laotian landscapes are visible.

       4. Talay Mok Aiyoeweng Skywalk: Ban Than Mali is a neighborhood in Yala Province’s Betong District, in Ayer Weng Subdistrict. Many people visit daily to enjoy the pleasant weather and surreal sea of mist that characterizes this southern tourism hotspot. It's the highest and longest glass floor in ASEAN, with an unobstructed view in every direction and a length of 61 meters (and 2,038 feet above sea level).

       5. Kanchanaburi Skywalk: Through the clear glass floors, you can view all three rivers, including the Kwai Yai River, from this location on the Kwai. The Khwae Noi River meets the Mae Klong River, creating a new river system. Anyone who travels to Kanchanaburi should definitely stop by the tourist information center to get their picture taken and register their stay.

       6. Wat Khao Tabak Skywalk: Nong Kham Subdistrict, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province’s newest tourism destination. It gives the impression of a glass boardwalk suspended high above the treetops, providing a breathtaking vista of the surrounding forest. Visitors can also climb the hill and offer their respects at the Buddha statue.

       7. Phu AenSkywalk, Nong Bua Lam Phu Province: The province of Nong Bua Lam Phu is home to Phu Kao Phu Phan Kham National Park. It is a transparent glass overpass. Located at the crossroads of Nong Bua Lam Phu and Khon Kaen districts, this spot offers stunning views of Ubolratana Dam.
