Criteria for Pre-Application for Overseas Job Recruitment by Licensed Overseas Employment Agency - Application Submission at Provincial Employment Office (Jor Tor 2)

For those seeking permission to recruit or announce recruitment in advance for overseas job placement by a licensed overseas employment agency, the criteria when applying at the provincial employment office where the licensee has set up their office are as follows:

  1. A licensed overseas employment agency intending to recruit or announce recruitment in advance must apply for permission from the Registrar, and according to the Employment and Job Seeker Protection Act, the licensee should not have been penalized under the employment registration and must possess qualifications without any prohibited characteristics as stipulated by law.
  2. When applying for permission for advance recruitment or recruitment announcement, the application can be made at the provincial employment office where the licensee has established their office.
  3. The permit is valid for 60 days from the date of approval.
  4. When seeking permission for advance recruitment or recruitment announcement, the licensee is not allowed to charge, receive benefits, or require any kind of guarantees from job seekers.

     The procedures in the manual will commence once the officer has checked that the documents are complete as specified in the public service manual. If the application or evidence is incomplete and/or defective and cannot be considered, the officer will prepare a record of document deficiencies or evidence that needs to be additionally submitted. The applicant must correct and/or submit additional documents within the period specified in the aforementioned record. 

     Otherwise, the application will be considered as abandoned by the officer and the applicant or the authorized signatory must sign the said record, and a copy of the deficiency record will be provided to the applicant or the authorized person for reference. The results of the consideration will be notified to the applicant within 7 days from the date of completion of the consideration. The application for pre-application for overseas job recruitment by the licensed overseas employment agency, submitted at the provincial employment office where the licensee has set up their office, has a processing fee of 10 baht.
