From the statistics between 2022-2023, the Department of Employment granted 113,186 Thai workers to work abroad. The top five countries where Thai workers travel to work are Taiwan, South Korea, Israel, Japan, and Malaysia. These quality workers are skilled and are needed by employers in foreign countries.
Companies that wish to apply for an extension of the recruitment period or pre-announcement of job recruitment, when submitting the application to the Thai Overseas Employment Administration, Department of Employment, must meet the following criteria and conditions:
The process according to the manual begins when the officer checks that the documents are complete as specified in the public service manual. If the application or evidence is incomplete and/or defective and cannot be considered, the officer will prepare a record of document discrepancies or additional documents to be submitted.
The applicant must correct and/or submit additional documents within the period specified in the record. Otherwise, the application will be deemed abandoned by the officer. The applicant or authorized signatory must sign the record and a copy of the discrepancy record will be provided to the applicant or authorized person as evidence. The result will be notified to the applicant within 7 days from the date of completion of the consideration.
