Requesting assistance from the Justice Fund for aiding people whose human rights have been violated

     If indigent and afflicted individuals claim that their human rights have been violated, such as being detained for too long or being dismissed by the court due to being a scapegoat, they can request assistance from the Justice Fund for supporting various expenses.

In cases when indigent and afflicted individuals are victims of human rights violations, the following documents are required:

  1. Copy of identification card (ID card)/ state official identification;
  2. Copy of house registration (Tabian Baan);
  3. Copy of certificate of name-surname change (if any);
  4. Power of attorney (if any) and stamp duty 30 baht;
  5. Copy of contract;
  6. Copy of documents showing rights to land;
  7. Copy of case documents, such as detention warrant, release warrant, and final judgment; 

Verification of request status

     The process of considering requests for receiving financial assistance from the Justice Fund has a duration of not more than 14 days from the date of receiving the request until the date of notification of the consideration result.
