Application to stay in Thailand in accordance with Section 15 (diplomat, official), for heads of office, staff, or specialists appointed to perform duties

      Foreign heads of offices of organizations or international agencies with Operations Protection Laws in Thailand or approved by the Thai government, or are specialists or persons appointed by the organization or assigned to perform duties or missions in the Kingdom for an organization or for the Thai government, in accordance with an agreement made by the Thai government with that international organization or agency, may apply to extend their stay when their visa has expired. They must apply for a visa extension under Section 15 of the Immigration Act 1979 (diplomat, official), with the following requirements:

 - They must hold a diplomatic passport or official/service/special passport or United Nations laissez-passer, or hold an ordinary passport with a non-immigrant visa for the performance of official duties, or be exempt from a visa under agreements made by that country with the Thai government;

 - They must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from government agencies at the department level or equivalent.

 Required documents

 - TM.7 form;

 - Copy of passport;

 - Certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from a government agency at the department level or equivalent.
