Shaping "ESG" Entrepreneurs with GSB in Response to Future Investment Trends

In this era, not knowing ESG means falling behind the trend! The National Innovation Agency (NIA) in collaboration with the Government Savings Bank (GSB) has launched an innovative new course to develop a business mindset that is socially and environmentally conscious while aligning with sustainable development goals.

The “Sustainable Development, ESG and Business Model Development Programme” focuses on helping new-generation entrepreneurs understand and integrate ESG into their business management comprehensively, from generating revenue to building credibility in the eyes of investors.

ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, encompassing three main aspects: Environmental (e.g., reducing resource use or pollution), Social (e.g., employee care or community engagement), and Governance (e.g., transparent and ethical organizational management). This concept has garnered considerable attention from investors worldwide as it not only helps manage long-term risks but also offers opportunities for stable returns.

The program content includes 10 online lessons and 7 case studies from leading Thai organizations that have successfully implemented ESG, as well as examples from startups in the GSB Smart Startup Company project. These case studies provide participants with a clear understanding and practical applications for their own businesses.

Ultimately, this course will not only cultivate capable entrepreneurs but also serve as a crucial step in driving economic growth sustainably, reducing social inequality, and improving the quality of life for all!
