The Thailand Smart Tour (TST) digital platform was launched via Zoom Meeting and Facebook Live. The purpose of this platform is to enhance the convenience of tour management and to connect tour companies with guides more efficiently, as well as to provide knowledge and guidance on how to use the platform in preparation for the enforcement of regulations.
Thailand Smart Tour (TST) aims to improve tour management by incorporating technology for faster and more modern operations and facilitating convenient and safe coordination between tour companies and guides. This platform seeks to eliminate illegal tour companies and guides, which will help enhance the image of the Thai tourism industry while protecting the rights of tourists by providing services only from licensed tour companies and guides.
The Tourism Department invites tour companies and guides to register and start using Thailand Smart Tour (TST). To ensure a smooth transition, the issuance of tour guide assignments must be done exclusively through this platform starting from October 1, 2024.
