On the occasion of the auspicious royal ceremony celebrating the 6th cycle birthday of His Majesty King Rama X on July 28, 2024, Siam Commercial Bank, in collaboration with the Department of Painting, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University, and the Sirindhorn Art Center, is organizing an art exhibition titled “72 Years of Honor for his Royal Majesty, King Maha Vajiralongkorn.”
The exhibition features 39 artworks from 38 artists, including national artists, filled with loyalty that reflects His Majesty's royal virtues, biography, and royal duties for the benefit of the people. These are conveyed through paintings, sculptures, and prints. Members of the public can also participate in helping society, as 15% of the proceeds from the sale of artworks will be donated to the “Ratsadon Sukjai Plana Mai Somboon” project, and another 15% will be allocated as scholarships for art students.
The exhibition is open for viewing from today until October 31, 2024, at the Thai Bank Museum (Ratchayothin) every Monday to Friday from 09:30 AM to 04:30 PM (excluding bank holidays). Everyone is invited to appreciate His Majesty's grandeur and learn about Thai history through these valuable artworks.
