On 12 April 2023, the festival known as “Procession of cloth up to the volcano, paying homage to the Big Buddha, visiting the cultural ground” was held at the Kradong Volcano Non-hunting Area, Samet Subdistrict, Mueang District, Buriram Province. It is an occasion for Buddhists to gather to parade Angsachang cloth for the Lord Buddha Phra Suphat Bophit, the invaluable Buddha image of Buriram, located on the mouth of the Kradong volcanic crater.

It is the city’s symbolic Buddha image, according to Phra Suphat Bophit. On Khao Kradong, there are relics enshrined within the head. It is a large brick-plastered Buddha image that faces north and is 12 meters wide across the lap and 14 meters long at the base. It was built in 1969.

Furthermore, it promotes Buriram tourism in terms of cultural tourism, as well as the preservation of arts, culture, and local traditions, by creating cultural capital that is able to generate income for community members.

There are also many activities inside, such as an Angsa parade and the changing of Phra Suphatrabophit's clothes, Dharma practice prayer activities, Phra Suphatrabophit bathing activities, cultural courtyard activities, performances, the sale of cultural products, and a cultural show.
