At present, the number of foreign workers coming to work in Thailand has continued to increase, and often there are children accompanying their parents. We therefore need to know the health check-up process for migrant worker dependents who are children. The operation manual of health insurance for foreigners and foreign workers, Ministry of Public Health B.E. 2563, has specified the details, as follows.
Health checkup for foreign worker dependents who are children
1. Children under 7 years of age are subject to health check-up only for items with medical indications at the physician's discretion.
2. Give Albendazole and Diethylcarbamazine according to indications for use in children.
Health checkup for foreign workers working as sea fishing crew.
In the case of foreign workers wishing to work as sea fishing crew on sea fishing vessels, hearing and vision examinations should be performed in addition to the normal health checkup as follows:

2. Visual acuity is examined by using a Snellen Chart; in the case of using eyeglasses, visual acuity must be equal to 20/70 or more, or in case of not wearing glasses or contact lenses, visual acuity must not be less than 20/200. The result of the examination shall be issued as follows:
In case it is necessary to have additional special hearing and vision examinations, the examinee must agree to be responsible for the expenses incurred.
