Overview of international trade in Thailand in November 2022 and during January-November 2022

1. Export

1.1. The value of exports in November 2022 was 846,190.48 million baht, which increased by 7.67% from November 2021 and 5.61% from the October. The value of exports in US dollar was 22,308.03 million US dollars, which decreased by 5.96% from November 2021, but increased by 2.46% from October.

1.2. During January-November 2022, the value of exports was 9,167,993.03 million baht, which increased by 18.41% from the same period in 2021. The value of exports in US dollar was 265,349.05 million US dollars, which increased by 7.61%

2. Import

2.1. In November 2022, the value of imports was 907,142.65 million baht which increased by 20.63% from November 2021 and 8.92% from the October. The value of imports in US dollar was 23,650.30 million US dollars, which increased by 5.58% from November 2021 and 5.73% from October.

2.2. During January - November 2022, the value of imports was 9,823,871.96 million baht, which increased by 28.01%from the same period in 2021. The value of imports in US dollar was 280,437.96 million US dollars, which increased by 16.34%.

3. Balance of Trade

3.1. In November 2022, Thailand had a trade deficit of 60,952.17 million baht, changing from November 2021 with a trade surplus of 33,882.41 million baht. In US dollar, Thailand had a trade deficit worth 1,342.27 million US dollars, changing from November 2021 with a trade surplusof 1,321.63 million US dollars.

3.2. During January-November 2022, Thailand had a trade deficit of 655,878.93 million baht, changing from the same period in 2021 with a trade surplus of 68,279.37 million baht. In US dollar, Thailand had a trade deficit of 15,088.91 million US dollars, changing from the same period in 2021 with a trade surplus of 5,544.40 million US dollars.
