Six Michelin Guide 2023 restaurants in Ubon Ratchathani Province

One of the four Northeastern provinces that has been honored in the Michelin Guide 2023, with a total of six restaurants that earned the Bib Gourmand, is Ubon Ratchathani, a province known for its superb cuisine, particularly the renowned Naem Nueng. All these restaurants encourage guests to try them out since they serve plenty of equally great dishes.

1. Agave – The fermented Naem Nueng dough used in this Vietnamese fusion restaurant is crunchy, like real Vietnamese food and can be wrapped and consumed without being dipped in water. Also, the restaurant serves a wide range of delicious foods that visitors to Ubon must not miss trying.
2. Another typical Vietnamese eatery is Indochina Restaurant. Naem Nueng and Miang Tod, or Fried Spring Rolls, are must-try menu items. The shop prepares its own dough, making them delectable like no other.

3. Mok – This is a restaurant that is quite different from the others, because the food is prepared in Chef Table style, with Thai fusion food, emphasizing beautifully decorated dishes, and the taste is as cool as the appearance.

4. Phae Araya is a well-known eatery by the river in the Khong Chiam district. Its river prawns are just as delectable as those in Ayutthaya, and there is also the option of Mekong River fish, which has a sweet, fatty taste and can be used to prepare any cool cuisine.

5. Everyone who visits Ubon must eat at Somtam Jinda, an Isaan restaurant with a distinctive flavor that is especially well-known for its papaya salad menu.

6. View Moon – Here you can indulge in food and the atmosphere of the Moon River view, the selling point of the restaurant, in addition to its delicious food. In the evening you will also see another beautiful sunset over the water in Ubon Ratchathani.
