System Development and Empowerment of Mechanisms for Driving and Promoting Morality under the National Morality Action Plan Phase II
Guidelines for developing the human potential to behave in a way that reflects morality, and a way of life based on "Sufficiency, Discipline, Integrity, Volunteerism, Gratitude," in accordance with the Action Plan on Promoting National Morality Phase 2 (2023-2027), have been released. The guidelines have been issued for system development and capacity-building of mechanisms for driving and promoting the morality of all sectors, especially the government sector, including laws, projects, measures, and government policies. The goals and indicators of the plan are as follows:
Goal 1: An increase in the number of networks and organizations participating in public activities
The indicator is the number of networks and organizations from all sectors participating in public activities; the number is expected to increase by 5 percent per year from the base figure in 2022.
Goal 2: A social network organization that has developed a social credit system to support the promotion of morality
The key indicator is the number of social network organizations that have developed social credit systems appropriate to Thai society's context to support the moral promotion. The goal is to increase by 10 percent by 2027 from the database in 2023.
Goal 3: The government agencies whose ITA value has surpassed the benchmark
A key indicator is the number of government agencies with Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) values that have passed the benchmark increase, aiming to increase by 10 percent by 2027 from the database in 2022.
