In today's world of investment, trade, and international trade, advanced technology systems are used to help facilitate the work of staff, especially service users who are business people and investors who will drive the country's business sector to grow, in terms of facilitating people in this group, the Thai government has introduced the Biz Portal system, which is a central platform that collects information and services related to business operations from the intention of opening a business to obtaining a license to do business in Thailand with the Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization) or DGA as the administrator of the Biz Portal system.
In order to create confidence for entrepreneurs in maintaining various information of the Biz Portal system, the system has been designed and installed in Cloud Service-Level-Agreement (SLA) of not less than 99.5%. This is a system that has strict measures to prevent data theft and has high security with ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 certification.
The information security management system was developed with security in mind as follows:
1. Development of applications, systems and platforms has operated under ISO/IEC 9001
2. Systems, applications, systems and platforms passed Functional Test and Non-Functional Tests such as Performance Test and Security Test, of which results must be highly available and low security risk.
In addition, DGA also tests the security of applications and platforms in at least two ways:
1. Static Application Security Testing (SAST) is to test the source code of applications and platforms written to determine whether the programming is at risk of being attacked or hacked by malicious people.
2. Vulnerability Assessment (VA) is to test whether the installed applications and platforms as a whole are vulnerable to attack due to inadequately secure settings or infrastructure.
Business people wishing to open a business in Thailand and are interested in using the Biz Portal system can immediately access the service at the website https://bizportal.go.th or public agencies interested in using the service can contact the DGA Contact Center, call +66 2612 6060 or email contact@dga.or.th.
