Khemarat Nawaeng - Chiad has been a cultural focal point in Ubon Ratchathani Province for over 200 years, long before tourism was imagined. It is a civilization in the Mekong River basin. If you visit this community during Buddhist Lent, you will be amazed by the beautiful Buddhist Lent procession, supported by the villagers' faith, as well as candle casting and hand-carved wood taken to the temple. You can also visit the Wat PhuTham Phra Sila Thong Museum, a community-based archaeological site that showcases historical artifacts excavated in the area, such as large ancient human bone vessels, iron tools, bronze ornaments, and stone and glass jewelry.

There is also a walking street here for us to walk along, where we can buy lovely handmade products. The Khemarat Walking Street is held on Wisit Sri Road. On the night of the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, the townspeople bring local products and local food to sell at affordable prices. There are also local performances to watch, as well.
