Insider, a well-known American news and lifestyle app and website, ranks Thailand as one of the 23 best places in the world to travel in 2023, citing the country’s exciting festivals throughout the year, particularly the Songkran Festival and the world-class hip hop music festival Rolling Loud Thailand 2023, which will be held in April.
Thailand also has many luxury hotels in Bangkok’s business district and is a popular destination for foodies and shopaholics from all over the world.
Other places selected by Insider’s website include Bhutan, Australia, Cayman Islands, Dubai, Japan, Bali-Indonesia, Merida-Mexico, Kanoan Island, Istanbul-Turkiye, Portugal, Switzerland, Sicily-Italy, Glasgow-Scotland, Egypt, Croatia, AlUla-Saudi Arabia; the US includes Charleston, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and San Francisco; and in France, they select the Loire Valley and Paris.
There is also an InterNations website that reveals the results of the ranking of countries where people want to live and work the most (Expat Insider 2022), which discovered that there are four countries in the ASEAN top ten, led by Indonesia in second place, Vietnam in seventh place, Thailand in eighth place, and Singapore in tenth place.
