Foreigners traveling to Thailand for leisure, doing business, retirement, or studying must apply for a visa to stay in Thailand for different periods of time. When applying for an extension of stay in Thailand, there are many cases that require certain procedures. For example, in the event that they are required to work at public charities, foreign private organizations, foundations, associations, Foreign Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trade of Thailand, or the Federation of Thai Industries, the requirements are as follows:
1. They must hold a non-immigrant visa;
2. They must be certified and requested by an authorized person or a person holding the highest position in that organization;
3. They must be certified and requested by the head of a government agency at the department level or equivalent or higher, or the head of a state enterprise or the head of another government agency related to the organization.
Required documents
1. Application form TM.7;
2. Copy of the applicant's passport;
3. Copy of the work permit;
4. Copy of the license to establish an organization from the government or a copy of the license from the relevant government agencies;
5. Certificate from the organization;
6. List of foreigners working in the organization;
7. Only in the case under item 3, a confirmation letter from a government agency at the department level or equivalent or higher, or the head of a state enterprise or the head of another government agency related to the organization, must be presented.
