Foreigners traveling to Thailand case of religious mission and wishing to apply to stay in Thailand must submit an application with the following requirements:
1. They must hold a Non-Immigrant Visa;
2. They must be accredited or approved by the Department of Religious Affairs or the National Bureau of Buddhism;
3. The request must be approved and supported by the religious organization in which the applicant is stationed.
Required documents
1. TM.7 Form;
2. Copy of the applicant's passport;
3. Certificate from the Department of Religious Affairs or the National Bureau of Buddhism;
4. Confirmation letter from the religious organization.
Procedures
- The foreigner submits an application (TM.7);
- The officer checks the validity of the passport;
- The officer checks the validity of the visa and residence permit. In the case of overstaying, a fine shall be charged;
- The officer checks the application form and the required documents and notifies the conditions for applying for residence permit (Sor.Tor.Mor.2);
- The officer checks the information of the foreigner from the List of Prohibited Persons and Black List;
- The officer accepts the application and records it in the application book;
- The officer accepts the fee and issues a receipt;
- The officer stamps a travel stamp with permission not exceeding 1 year at a time;
- The officer offers the authorized signatory and returns the passport;
- In the case of first-year application, notification of staying over 90 days must be attached.
