Application for amendments, changes, or additions to particulars in a residence certificate or a substitute for a residence certificate

           Foreigners staying in Thailand for a long period for any purpose, when applying for a residence certificate, may apply for amendments, changes, or additions to particulars in the residence certificate or a substitute for a residence certificate. The following documents must be prepared:

1. Passport or document in lieu of a passport;

2. Residence certificate or substitute of residence certificate;

3. Valid alien certificate (renewed);

4. Current house registration (original) with a copy of the house number page and the name of the applying foreigner; 

5. One half-body photo without a hat, size 4×6 cm, taken within 6 months.

           All of the documents will be processed within 5 working days.

           The application may be submitted at Sub-Division 1 (Residence Certificate Division), Immigration Division 1, The Government Complex Commemorating His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary, 2nd Floor, Building B, 120 Moo 3, Chaengwattana Road, Thung Song Hong, Lak Si, Bangkok 10210 (tel. +66 2141 7869).

          Persons residing in other provinces may contact the Provincial Immigration Office or Immigration Office in nearby areas in case there is no provincial immigration office.
