The IDF World Diabetes Congress 2025 will be held from April 7 to 10, 2025, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). This marks the first time the congress is hosted in Southeast Asia, reinforcing Thailand's image as a Medical Hub in the region. The event is organized in collaboration with various public and private sectors, including the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the Diabetes Association of Thailand, the Ministry of Public Health, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

This conference is expected to attract participants from around the world, including doctors, researchers, business professionals, and those interested in medicine and diabetes. It not only aims to elevate the status of Thai medicine but also serves as an opportunity for exchanging important knowledge and health technologies.

Hosting the IDF Congress 2025 is a significant opportunity to elevate the profile of Thai medicine on the global stage while generating substantial revenue from tens of thousands of participants. This achievement reinforces Thailand's role as a hub for international medical conferences and events.
