Good news! The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) is collaborating with Talad Thai to elevate the "Central Thai Herb Market" to the global stage! 🌍💚 Leading the charge are Andrographis, turmeric, and black ginger—among the country’s top three export herbs.. Following closely are Indian gooseberry, fingerroot, white kwao krua, kratom, aloe vera, centella, hemp, cannabis, and bitter melon.
The Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine signed an important memorandum of understanding with Thai Agro Exchange Co., Ltd. (Talad Thai) during the 21st National Herbal Expo at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Muang Thong Thani.
This collaboration aims to enhance the quality of herbal raw materials to meet international standards. Furthermore, it supports the central Thai herb market in exceeding 6 billion baht per year.
Additionally, this initiative aligns with Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin’s ‘IGNITE THAILAND’ policy, which aims to position Thailand as a comprehensive hub for the medical industry and related services.
