700 million baht for the Thai people! The Government Pharmaceutical Organization and Chulalongkorn University collaborate to develop cancer medication.

Good news for cancer patients and all Thai people! The Government Pharmaceutical Organization and Chulalongkorn University are collaborating to invest over 700 million baht to develop a new cancer immunotherapy antibody aimed at directly inhibiting the growth of cancer cells.

This research project originated from the commitment of the Faculty of Medicine at Chulalongkorn University, which aims to develop highly effective and easily accessible cancer medications for Thai patients. With support from the public donating to the Chulalongkorn Cancer Immunotherapy Fund, the research team has successfully developed antibodies at the laboratory level and is currently in the process of industrial production.

This collaboration marks a significant step in the development of cancer medications in Thailand, as it will provide patients with more treatment options and access to high-quality drugs at reasonable prices.Additionally, it contributes to long-term health security for Thailand.

The ultimate goal of this project is to register the developed antibody with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) so that Thai patients can access this medication, leading to more effective treatments.
