Thailand Shines Bright! 15 Medals at The World Games 2025 Top in ASEAN, 6th in Asia

Great news that fills all Thai people with pride and joy! Thailand’s athletes made a global impact at The World Games 2025 by winning a total of 15 medals: 4 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze. This impressive haul placed Thailand first in the ASEAN region and sixth overall in Asia.

This achievement marks a significant leap forward from the previous Games, where Thailand took home 9 medals. The success comes from a variety of sports, including dragon boat racing, ju-jitsu, Muay Thai, snooker, and pétanque—sports where Thailand excels.

The World Games feature sports not included in the Olympic Games and are held every four years with athletes from around the globe. The 2025 edition took place in Chengdu, China, and the next Games will be hosted in Durham, North Carolina, USA, in 2029.

Everyone is invited to cheer on and support Thai athletes as they continue to represent the country on the world stage!
