Travel calendar – Inheriting colors and lines; Don Kai Dee Benjarong – Samut Sakhon Province (March)

       Benjarong is an exquisitely decorated ceramic handicraft, a precious art that represents Thainess that has been passed down from generation to generation from the past to the present.

       Samut Sakhon Province is an area that has inherited and developed their Benjarong to such a high level that they hold international events every year, with the theme of inheriting the colors and lines of Benjarong Don Kai Dee. In 2023, between March 10 and 12, visitors can come to the event from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benjarong Village, Don Kai Dee Krathum Baen District. Anyone who is interested in attending the event will be able to see and buy Benjarong wares made by people in Don Kai Dee Benjarong Village. They will be able to choose from many OTOP products, including various orchid species, and will also be able to watch a demonstration of the production of Benjarong products. There are many exhibitors with fine products for sale.

       Benjarong Village, Don Kai Dee, has been known and accepted globally. It is regarded as the source of the production of porcelain crockery, including the finely crafted Benjarong utensils, which are among the top in Thailand.
