The Meanings of Flags and Signal Flags that Water Travelers Should Know

The Meanings of Flags and Signal Flags

People who like to travel by water, in addition to the safety standards of that place, we ourselves must be careful, avoid, or know how to observe various warning signs.

For tourist attractions that are seaside beaches, we often see that flags are planted in different colors as a warning symbol for swimming. Now let’s see what each color of the flag tells us.

- Double Red Flags .... The beach is closed due to public activities on the beach.

- Single Red Flag ....Very dangerous, very strong waves, do not swim in the water.

- Yellow Flag .... Moderate danger, moderate waves, play with caution in the water.

- Green Flag ... Beach conditions are safe from waves.

- Purple Flag ... Be careful of dangerous animals such as jellyfish and stingrays.

It's easy, not difficult, so for safety, you should pay attention to the colors of the flags carefully before you go into the water.
