Popular activities among tourists

The full reopening of the country has made the tourism business vigorous again.

Visa Global Travel Intentions Study ranked Thailand the fourth most-chosen destination for international tourists, when the country was reopened after the Covid-19 situation became less of a threat, after the United States, the United Kingdom, and India.

A wide range of activities attract tourists from around the world to visit Thailand, such as traditional massage, Thai temple art, and Thai food, which impress everyone who has a chance to experience them, spreading through word of mouth, and they would like to visit Thailand again.

Besides, Thailand is full of historic and attractive places of interest, such as the Royal Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), and Wat Phra Chetuphon (Wat Pho) in Bangkok.

Another highlight marked as a tourist “must-do” is water activities, especially scuba diving and snorkeling to admire the stunning beauty of coral reefs in the Similan Islands, “the true gem of the Andaman Sea and a heaven for divers.”

Throughout the year, Thailand offers world-famous activities related to its traditions, religions, and diverse cultures, such as the Songkran Festival, Lai Rue Fai (illuminated fire boat festival), candle festivals, and many more. A huge number of tourists visit Thailand and join these festivals.
