Enduring Friendship The Role of the Thai Monarchy in Thailand-Indonesia Relations

His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queenwelcomed Indonesian President Prabowo Subiantoat the Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall in Dusit Palace,as part of his official visit to Thailand as a guest of the government.

Thailand and Indonesia maintain close tiesat both the bilateral and ASEAN levels,
covering cooperation in trade, investment, environment, agriculture, and education. The relationship dates back to the reign of King Rama Vand has been fostered by the Thai monarchy and royal family throughnumerous official visits to Indonesia.

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations,the two nations have joined in collaborative activitiesto further strengthen their partnership.
