OTOP Select has long been a well-known brand, and now Don Mueang Airport has opened a store featuring 186 products from 64 producers. These products not only attract Thai tourists but also garner interest from international travelers passing through the airport. Moreover, Suvarnabhumi and Phuket airports have achieved sales of over 324 million baht, confirming that the OTOP Select project continues to generate substantial revenue and support sustainable growth.
The OTOP (One Tambon One Product) project, now in its 20th year, aims to encourage communities nationwide to develop local wisdom into valuable products. This initiative not only generates income for families and communities but also strengthens the grassroots economy. The government supports the project with knowledge, technology, and market connections, both domestically and internationally. The establishment of OTOP Select stores at major airports nationwide has effectively expanded market opportunities and broadened the customer base.
The continuous growth in sales demonstrates that OTOP Select is a success story of the One Tambon One Product project. It not only helps generate income for communities but also promotes local culture and wisdom on an international scale.
