The Prime Minister discusses with the founder of AI Fund and the executives of Kasikornbank (KBTG) to plan the use of AI to drive the Thai economy in various sectors, including tourism, education, and public health, to boost the Thai economy.
Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin met with Mr. Andrew Ng, founder of AI Fund and board member of Amazon.com, Inc., to discuss visions and collaborations in using AI to develop Thailand's digital economy. The meeting is supported by Kasikorn Business-Technology Group (KBTG), which is organizing the “KBTG Techtopia 2024” event to exchange AI perspectives from global experts, emphasizing the importance of AI in national development. Companies are invited to help strengthen the digital ecosystem and apply AI to enhance tourism, education, and public health sectors. Mr. Andrew Ng expressed his pleasure in discussing AI cooperation with Thailand and shared his expertise and technology.
Both parties discussed the Ignite Thailand vision to develop the country into a digital economic hub and enhance collaboration in AI training to boost workforce potential and improve the quality of Thai education.
