Admire the Beauty of Royal Attire at the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles

The Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles invites everyone to experience the beauty of royal attire in the exhibition “The Royal Siamese Costumes,” held in honor of His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of his 72nd birthday. This exhibition presents royal garments that reflect Thai traditions and culture passed down through generations.

In addition to showcasing His Majesty King Rama X’s attire from the Coronation Ceremony, the exhibition also features the white ceremonial robes worn by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, as well as various types of royal court fabrics, such as brocade, silk damask, and Poong cloth, many of which have never been displayed to the public. These pieces highlight the exquisite beauty of Thai cultural heritage.

This exhibition provides a unique opportunity to learn about the history and significance of royal Thai textiles while celebrating the craftsmanship of Thai artisans who preserve this cultural legacy.

Visitors can view the exhibition until April 30, 2570 (2027), in Rooms 3–4 at the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, located in the Grand Palace.
